[ Kimberly Mattison ]

“I am learning new things about being an Account Manager every single day and always do my best to apply what I have learned in every situation that I encounter.” –Kimberly Mattson

Kimberly has been with CPAlead since February 2011 and has since quickly climbed her way from a customer service representative to become an Account Manager in May of 2011. Kim’s most enjoyable part of working for CPAlead is getting to communicate with publishers all over the world, finding solutions to any questions or concerns they may have.

Here’s what Kim had to say about her life working at CPAlead:

Q: What do you enjoy most about working at CPAlead?

Kimberly Mattson: I really enjoy how pleasant the work atmosphere is here at CPAlead and the strong relationship I am building with my co-workers. There is always something new and exciting happening, and even though we are all quite busy we still find time to have some fun in between by practicing our Ping-Pong skills!

Q: What advice do you have for those who may not know the steps to monetizing their website?

KM: The best pieces of advice I can give is that publishers should make sure that the campaigns they plan on using with our network are set up with a quality layout and are compliant with all relevant advertising terms. As a publisher you want to make sure your incentive is as desirable as possible and your website is professional. It is very important to catch the eye of the user and to do so you absolutely want to have a good looking website that is easy to navigate. If the site they are using is attractive to the user and if they are targeting the right countries, they should have no problem with generating traffic to their site and monetizing it. Traffic is also extremely important in regards to monetizing your site. Putting in the time to research and execute a successful method will be one of the most important things you can do.

Q: What is the best way for a new publisher to learn how to get started?

KM: The best way for a new publisher to learn how to get started would be to utilize all of the great resources and learning materials that we offer with our network. If anybody ever has any questions at all there are many different ways of receiving the help that they need, including our Forum and Helpdesk System, which connects them directly to an Account Manager. They can start out by exploring our CPAlead Dashboard and actually creating the Widget for their website. To do this they can visit Tools > Widgets >> Create Widget >>> and then from there select the content type for the specific website they are using. Once they have done this they can go through and customize all of the settings and designs for their Widget. After the Widget has been created, they will want to paste the provided code on their website.

Q: What are your goals as an Account Manager?

KM: My main goal as an Account Manager is to keep learning and progressing with my knowledge of our industry and technology. This is so that I can always be as helpful as possible when it comes to the assistance that the publishers may need. I would like to continue growing with the company and expanding my customer service skills to the best of my ability.

Q: What is life like for you outside the office? Any hobbies?

KM: My life outside of the office includes constantly learning new ideas about becoming healthier and being a Vegetarian. I became a Vegetarian about a year ago (I am somewhat Vegan as well, but not completely there yet), so I really enjoy cooking and baking, and trying out new recipes. I also love to practice yoga in my spare time, it makes me feel happy and peaceful, and it helps clear my head.

Q: What is your favorite memory of CPAlead?

KM: My favorite memory of CPAlead is without a doubt the CPAlead party that we had here at the office at the beginning of the year. It was so much fun to actually meet some of the publishers and to see the musician, Chamillionaire, perform live for everyone. It was also exciting to see the publishers win some well-deserved prizes, especially when the Maserati was given away!

Q: If a publisher needs to contact you for a particular issue, what is the best way to get a hold of you?

KM: If a publisher needs to contact me, the best way to get a hold of me would either be by sending me an email with a detailed description about what it is they need help with, or by contacting me via instant messenger. My email address and MSN name is [email protected], and I am available on AIM and Yahoo! Messenger as CPAleadKim, and Skype as CPAleadKimberly. If anyone prefers talking on the phone, I can be reached by dialing (888) 489-4786 ext. 240. I constantly check my emails and reply to them as fast as I can, so this would definitely be one of the best ways to contact me.

Q: Is there anything you’d like to add to our readers out there?

KM: I just want every Publisher out there to know that we truly appreciate their support and value their success. We are always working on new ways for you to generate income from your websites and that will not change. We have a lot of great things in the works here at CPAlead and we cannot wait to share them with you. Take care and contact me if you ever need any assistance at all!

Kimberly Mattson is one of the friendliest and most accommodating Account Managers around. Feel free to contact her if you have questions about getting started with CPAlead. Please stay tuned for more interviews as we continue our series with the Account Managing staff.
